Diamond drilling holes for pipes

Core drilling of holes for pipes

Diamond Drilling can be used to create large openings for ducts or smaller holes for pipes and wiring, ventilation, recuperators.

Additionally, diamond drilling is also used for the placement of anchoring bolts or for concrete sample analysis.

Diamond drilling holes for pipes and other communications

Every residential building, public or industrial building needs communications. All necessary holes are planned in the project and prepared in advance using embedded parts. When pouring concrete, an embedded part of the required size is placed in the right place. After the concrete hardens, the part is dismantled, and a technological hole appears in its place.

However, there are situations when during construction the design could have been changed, or a human factor occurred, and some holes were not provided for. In this connection, there is a need to make new holes for pipes in the finished building.

One of the best options is diamond drilling technology. Unlike a hammer drill, technological holes are drilled without impact loads on the structure, without destroying its integrity.

The principle of operation is to rotate a diamond bit with an electric motor, which gently cuts through holes in building materials, such as concrete, reinforced concrete, monolith, FBS, foam block, cinder block, brick, rubble, granite, marble, as well as reinforcement of any diameter.

The finished holes are round in shape with smooth edges and smooth walls, which do not require further modification. The work process takes place with minimal noise and no dust.

How long will it take to drill for pipes?

The average speed of work is 1 cm per minute, plus 15 minutes to reinstall the machine. For example, if the reinforced concrete floor is 20 cm thick, then drilling one hole (from start to finish) will take about 35 minutes.

To correctly select the hole size, you need to know the exact dimensions of the pipe; the hole should be slightly larger. For example, you decide to install a gas pipe with a diameter of 42 mm into your house, then the hole for it needs to be planned at 50 mm, as if with a reserve, so that it can easily pass into it.

The diamond drilling unit is capable of making technological holes of any size. On average, hole diameters vary from 32 mm to 350 mm.

If it is necessary to make an opening for communications, for example: 600x600 mm, then we can make it by drilling around the perimeter, with a diameter of 200 mm - to the required size.

core drilling for pipes, pipes for plumbing, sewer, storm water, weak point, water, heating, gas

A diamond drill can drill holes at any angle and in hard-to-reach places, be it a wall, ceiling, roof, foundation, basement.
We drill for any communications and pipes: plumbing, water, heating (for risers), gas, sewer, storm water, weak point, etc.
Diamond drilling significantly saves time both on making holes and on cleaning the room after work. The building does not receive damage, unlike methods when they use impact equipment, a hammer, a hammer drill, a sledgehammer, etc. etc.

Thanks to diamond drilling, making holes for pipes becomes an easy and quick task.
